EquipIC supply has been active in the IC market since 2002. Our services include manufacturing, test and assembly from IC prototype, through to full volume production. If required, we can also provide design services.
We have extensive experience in all aspects of IC sourcing including process, design, production and testing. Our services ensure our customers are able to focus on their own product development and marketing. We promote a flexible business model which supports customer vendor selection: our independence from wafer foundry, test and assembly houses allows us to produce the most effective solution for our customers.

EquipIC‘s mission statement is to take care of all IC out-sourcing aspects while enabling our customers to concentrate on product marketing and development. Our added value comes from our strong knowledge of all aspects of realising custom ICs; process, design, production, assembly and test.
Business Model
We support two main project models:
- COT model – as the customer you have visibility and control of all IC production costs including chip size, yields, test time and assembly. Cost reduction in each parameter is possible at any point in the life cycle of the product. In this business model NRE is relatively higher but the IC unit price is typically very competitive in high volume production.
- ASIC model – you have the assurance of a fixed final IC price and will pay relatively lower NRE. Any combination between the two business models is possible.
